Reiki Energy Healing
Reiki is a gentle and non-invasive form of energy healing that promotes relaxation and balance. I use hand positions to channel healing energy to your body, helping to release tension and promote a sense of calm. Meet Melissa
My name is Melissa Olson, I am Woodland Cree, and a member of Lac La Ronge Indian Band on Treaty 6 territory. I was born and raised in Northern Saskatchewan, with a deep love for the land and dedication to helping my people. I became a Social Worker with the hopes of helping others, but soon realized I had a lot of healing to do as well. Upon my healing journey, I picked up useful skills and tools that I use to help others on their path to healing. I draw upon my own life experiences to bring value to my work and aim to empower the people I come across. Through healing, I found a new perspective and new purpose to the way I help others. I use a strength based and heart centered approach when working with clients.
As a Reiki Practitioner, I use energy healing to help others balance their medicine wheel and work towards a holistic model approach. I have worked in the child welfare system throughout my career as a Social Worker and have seen first hand the effects of intergenerational trauma has on families and children. My passion is healing and helping others to feel empowered to heal themselves. Healing is a lifelong journey, but with the right people in your corner you don’t have to fight those battles alone. When we choose to heal ourselves, we are working to heal the next generation of children.
